My name is Monika, I have been
a breeder since 1994 and my breeding name is S*Silverblommans (Silverflowers).
Me and my husband live in the countryside
of Sweden since 1997. We have a little old house and a lot of lovely cats.
My breeding started with a
domestic cat, a brown tabby female with name Tessan, she got 2 litters and a
female, Althea in the first litter was the beginning.
From her 3 litters one female of
each litter went to breed. There name was A Poppy EUR d24, Belladonna EUR n 24 and Prickly Poppy EUR d 24.
And so far I have had 31 litters.
About European shorthair
It is the oldest breed in
Sweden and they where registries in 1940. They are in 69 colors. My favorites
are red, black spotted and black.
It´s not a big breed in Sweden,
only about 30 was born last year so it is a small exclusive breed and we are
afraid it is dying out.
Its lovely cats, with short
glossy coat, where the rain will fall off.
They are kind to people, children
and other animals. They are easy to breed, no genetic sickness.
